  • 01/11/2009- Internet Search Result Probabilities,Heaps’ law and Word Associativity. The paper (pdf) (written with Dr. Bruce Bukiet) has been published in The Journal of Quantitative Linguistics 2009, Volume 16, Number 1, pp. 40–66.

  • 02/01/2009- "The Art and Science of Spirals" a Barnes and Nobles book by Victor Dorff includes a copy of a drawing made by my Harmonograph.
    Its cheap and includes a spirograph set, see it here.
     
  • 06/18/2009- I am aknowledged in a book chapter by Jürgen Schmidhuber, Driven by Compression Progress: A Simple Principle Explains ... Subjective Beauty, Novelty, Surprise etc. Springer. He made a small change to equation (1) that I suggested equation. See it here.

  • Fall 2008- I begin a Cognitive and Neural Systems Graduate program at Boston University
  • 1/4/2008- Paper on Internet Search Result Probabilities submitted to the Journal of Quantitative Linguistics
  • 1/4/2008- I take some photos with a neat View Camera

  • 25/08/2007- On my way back from California I finally got around to making a program to draw stereographs, see more about it here


  • Fall 2006- I am studying abroad at the University of Leicester in Leicester England. Whilst there I came across a rare Paternoster and tested out my YouTubing skills with a video.
     
  • 9/1/2006- Breaking the Evolutionary Speed Limit,
    Super-Fisher Variance in Asexual Populations.
    I worked with Chris Adami at the Keck Graduate Institute in Claremont CA. My research regarding computational evolution used the software Avida. I plan to complete the project in a few months.
     
  • 5/15/2006-  Googlewhack and Internet Search Result Probability.  A poster at the NJIT Frontiers in Applied and Computational Mathematics.  Picture at far right.

  • 10/01/2005- I started making the official website for the UBMTP program I am in.  Check it out here, or see the outdated announcement from last year here.
     
  • 09/25/2005- This past summer, my brothers and I performed a River Formation Experiment.
    A nice addition to any alternate resume.
     
  • 08/01/2005- Fire is added as one of my so called talents . . . well I was a boy scout.

  • 05/05/2005- Site Renovated with fancy new design.  I spent some time making a spoof of a professional website (more on the spoof) so if I figured now that I know HTML I might as well make mine site look nice too (See the archived ugly old site).
     
  • 04/11/2005- Your Tax Dollars at Work:  I have begun an Undergraduate Biology and Math Training Program at NJIT.  It's funded by the US Government through the National Science Foundation, which looks good on a resume and I get paid.
    They weren't planning to accept freshman, and I had taken none of the suggested courses . . . but they read my recommendation, looked at this website, then I showed them a bit of offline math I've done.  Now I am one of the 6 students in the program.  They never asked for my Transcript, SAT score, or even my GPA!
    I would like to thank Prof. Moore for writing me the recommendation
